Welcome to the SCC Foundation and SCC Board of Trustees Scholarships application website!
More than $215,000 in scholarships is made available each year by the SCC Foundation and SCC Board of Trustees. Scholarships are based on a wide range of criteria that include academic achievement, enrollment in a specific career program, leadership involvement, talent and athletic ability.
How to apply?
Students are required to submit one general application to be applied towards all opportunities. Students will be auto-matched towards scholarships they meet the criteria of based on the information provided in the application as well as their student record information that is automatically imported. Click the red “Sign In” button on the top right of the page to start an application. You will log in using your SCC log in information. If you are not a current student and need to obtain SCC log in information, you will need to apply for SCC and contact the IT Help Desk for the log in info. Please note applying does not guarantee a scholarship.
What opportunities are currently available?
The available scholarships will appear under the “Opportunities” button. One Foundation Scholarship, VSM Abrasives Welding Scholarship, is still available. The application deadline has been extended until July 1. If you are a student in our welding program or are going into the welding program this fall, please apply!
Future opportunities for Fall 2022 – Spring 2023 scholarships will be open on December 1, 2021 so come back to apply.
When will I find out if I received an award?
Students who applied and are receiving awards will be contacted through their SCC email accounts in June 2021. Make sure you check your email frequently as there will be additional steps in order to secure scholarship awards. Please note: Funds may not be used for Summer 2021.
References and Reviewers FAQ
- If you are a reviewer or reference and are trying to log in, you logged in on the wrong tab of the sign in page. Close out of your browser, go to the sign in page and log in on the right tab of the log in box that says “References and Reviewers”.
- If you logged in under the “References and Reviewers” tab and are still seeing the student application, you entered in the incorrect password on the “References and Reviewers” tab. When you enter in the incorrect password the page will refresh, the sign in box tab will default back to “Applicants and Administrators” tab so when you try to log back in it signs you in as a student. You will need to reset your password. Click the “Trouble Signing In” link to reset or follow this link https://stchas.academicworks.com/users/password/new#references_and_reviewers.
- If you are a reference or reviewer and are locked out of your account, wait ten minutes and then reset your password. click the “Trouble Signing In” link to reset or follow this link https://stchas.academicworks.com/users/password/new#references_and_reviewers.
